There are multiple ways to give and support Scarlet Thread Ministries.

Make a Donation

If you would like to partner financially with Scarlet Thread or one or more of the ministry staff, please fill out our simple donation form.

Youth Center Equipment or Supplies

You can help out your local youth center by donating supplies or recreation equipment. Frequently snacks and cleaning supplies, games, and rec equipment like Ping-Pong balls are appreciated. The best way to find out what your local area youth center needs the most is to contact us or talk with the center’s director.

Items or Equipment of Value

Please consider us if you have equipment or other items of value you are getting rid of or trying to sell. Donations of such items may be tax deductible and of use to our ministry. What we don’t use in our youth centers or office, we may be able to sell to benefit the ministry.

IRA Rollover and Planned Estate Giving

If you are 70 and 1/2 or older an IRA Charitable Rollover to Scarlet Thread Ministries may help to satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), avoid taxes on the transfer and reduce your taxable income. If interested, contact us with questions, and your IRA plan administrator to initiate the transfer.

Gifts to Scarlet Thread included in the language of your will or trust may also result in estate tax savings.

Stocks and Qualified Charitable Distributions

Donation of stock that has increased in value since the time of purchase can benefit the donor in two ways. Donors receive income tax savings the same as if they wrote a check equal to the value of the stock, but with the added benefit of eliminating capital gains tax on the transfer.
